- Because the North Carolina General Assembly enacted legislation last year allowing firearms in parks and greenways, the Town of Chapel Hill must amend its ordinances to comply with this new state law.
- Consider Encroachment Agreements to Town Properties to Facilitate Potential “Sidewalk-type” Dining
- The Town Council will consider an ordinance amendment to allow alcohol to be served, consumed, and possessed in certain Town properties subject to encroachment agreements, and a resolution authorizing the Town Manager to negotiate for sidewalk-type dining in areas where traditional sidewalks do not exist.
