The Super 16th Annual Walk for Education will be held on Saturday,
October 13th at 1:30pm rain or shine. Walk for your school down
Franklin Street and enjoy the festive post-Walk carnival at Lincoln
Center. Fantastic inflatables, games, food and fun await you at the
carnival.

Interesting question, Ruby. Here is the contact information for the recently appointed principal for Elementary #11: Cheryl Carnahan ccarnahan@chccs.k12.nc.us. I am sure she would be happy to hear from you. In related news, the Superintendent will be bringing a recommendation to the School Board on October 4th to dispense with the usual naming process because, in reality, we are rebuilding a school rather than creating one in a new location. He will recommend that we call the school Northside Elementary.
